Fire on the Mountain

Keith and I were sitting on the back porch talking, just now. He kept staring at the hillside, remarking on the firetruck with a searchlight parked on the other side of the valley. Turns out there was a line of flame running down the hill across the way. I think that's Richwood Ave over there, but I can't be sure... It looked to me like someone had poured out some flamable liquid in a loop and set it on fire. The world may never know. We took some pictures from the porch, but our zoom lens wasn't strong enough to get very far, and in the dark too. The flames were gone in a few minutes, there were at least 2 firetrucks; one at the top of the hill and one down at the bottom.
Who knows what it was? A fraternity prank? An oil spill? A Phoenix rising? We may never know.
