Petite Planet: End Animal Dissections with Knitted Science
As much as I love knitting, and as freaking enjoyable as a disemboweled knitted frog is, this kind of thing makes me rather sad. I am not morally opposed to farming frogs specifically for dissection (or for eating, although I don't really want to eat them). Science is about investigating the natural world. It is my opinion that budding biologists will learn more from a real frog than any kind of frog simulacrum. How awesome would it be if our doctors trained on knitted cadavers instead of human bodies?
